You agree to use the application only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use of the application.

2. Local Data Storage and Backup

Because KJV Bible operates entirely locally on your device using IndexedDB, any data you generate (such as highlights, notes, or reading progress) is solely your responsibility.

• No Cloud Sync: We do not back up your data to any external servers.
• Data Loss: Clearing your browser cache, reinstalling your browser, or replacing your device may result in permanent loss of your local data. We are not liable for any lost notes or reading history.

3. Intellectual Property and Content

The historical biblical texts (such as the King James Version) provided within the application are generally in the public domain. However, the specific digital arrangement, software code, custom interface design, and related scholarly summaries provided by KJV Bible are our intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our proprietary software or interface without our explicit written permission.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to provide accurate historical texts and a reliable digital experience, we make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the application's performance, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KJV Bible and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the application, including but not limited to the loss of your locally stored data.
